I'm Canadian, but seeing no one posting in this forum, I was too embarrassed to say anything...lol! So I just hang out here with my many American friends.

New Brunswick, eh? I hope Atlantic Canada is just as beautiful as the rest of Canada! Do you have to speak French out there?

Welcome to the forums.
Very Happy

Sorry, I don't live in Canada, but glad you joined the site!

I hope it encourages you in your faith as much as it has mine! Cool

Apple orchard sounds fun! I bet it is cold up there in Canada...I thought Texas winters were rough, but I just can't fathom how cold Canada must get!

Steve, do you like farming? I was raised on a farm - cherry orchard, and dated an apple orchardist when I was very young. It's a hard but very healthy life! This last summer I was in the orchard for the last time as my dad finally retired. It is strange how the smells and sounds of a person's youth can stick with you...I still find the smell of tractor diesel and ripe fruit comforting.

What made you decide to go into apple farming in Atlantic Canada? Where did you go there from?

Do you speak French? I don't....I got kicked out of French in grade 8, back in 1977! Never did really learn it.

A Confession of Alone-ness
Hello.
God bless you. Very Happy
My home is in Toronto, Ontario.
My life began in 1956.
I've been involved with a few other Christian sites. But none of them has provided me with a mate of any sort. (Not even a very casual "date".)
I've even been a member of a secular site for many years. A good friend of mine there, Bev Rice, told me about this site.
I suppose people of other countries would have no difficulty uncovering my national roots--were we to meet in the flesh. I say "eh" alot Laughing (Intentionally.)
I'm still not too certain of how to go about attracting the attention of women.
(Yeah, yeah; I know---HOW OLD DID I SAY I AM??)

I feel a little like I'm standing in front of the membership at an Alcohol Anonymous meeting
Quote:
..."I AM TOM. I HAVE BEEN A COMPLETELY SINGLE MAN SINCE 1986. MY RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST HAS GROWN TRULY INTIMATE IN THIS TIME. I BELIEVE THE TIME HAS ARRIVED WHEN MY LIFE CAN MERGE WITH THAT OF A JOY-FILLED CHRISTIAN WOMAN. GOD BLESS YOU."

Thank you. I'm going to climb down from the podium now. Embarassed

Toronto, eh? Humidity, anyone? Wink

I see you've made a couple of posts. You might have better luck getting to know people by participating more in the discussions. I don't know how many still hang around in live chat, but between the search feature, discussions and chat, the more you use them, the more you will increase your chances.

I say "eh" a lot UNintentionally. I am Canadian! Mr. Green

But I know of one or two Americans who are pretty awesome...I'd probably drive them crazy with eh.

All the best!
