"INFATUATION VERSUS REAL LOVE"
Infatuation is ruled by "Feelings", but Real Love's feelings are ruled by "principle"...=)

agreed; love is a choice, not a feeling, just like forgiveness...most people these days just have infatuations, especially those who don't know Christ, because He is love, and you cant give what you dont have [in your heart].

Infatuation = Worldly People.
Real Love = Christian People.

Real Love = True Love = Agape Love = Unconditional Love.... you can love a person with the help of the Holy Spirit! Ask Him to help you love others as He has loved us.

SuSuChanel said it best.

Love (marriage related Love) is a choice.

You don't fall in and out of it. It's not an emotion. At this level, you CHOOSE to Love.

At the start of any relationship, it can be difficult to distinguish between infatuation, lust or love. To break past that, I'd suggest seeking the counsel of a group of people who are concerned for your spiritual well being. Hopefully, that support system should give a great - outside the drama - perspective.
