What is your ministry???
I'm involved in the music ministry at our local body. Support mostly, running sound and helping out. And with the youth, as assistant leader and trying to get more music into that as well. Which is proving to be challenging to find the time to get it all in place. Smile And of course VBS in the summer.

It is so satisfying serving others, no matter in what way you do. Serving others and functioning as a whole is most definitely an aspect of the body of Christ.

What ministries are you involved in??? Wink

Used to be in Youth and Children ministry. But I'm having my break right now. As a teacher who meets kids from 8 to 3 (Monday to Friday); I admit that I just want to sit and listen to the service without kids around me on my Sabbath day. Oh no- am I bad person??

I've taught Sunday school, praise singer, prayer intercessor, Home Friendship Group Leader, church fundraising (for auctions and silent auctions), counselling both within the body and outside, event co-ordinator and negotiator, teach home bible studies, teach English phonics to adult speakers of other languages, and acquiring things needed by a family or an individual person such as (free) furniture, appliances, clothing, bedding and draperies, baby items, etc.
I believe that when the Lord shows me a need, it's because He wants me to do something about it... and with His anointing it will get done.
Giving is very rewarding. To whom much is given much is required. The Lord has given me many talents and one day I will have to answer to Him if I don't use them... and to His glory.

I should also add that I am currently on hiatus from all my duties while I am recovering from a concussion.

I preach, teach a men's bible study, run sound, play guitar, disciple young men, edit sermons to post on the website. I probably need to pick a couple things to get away from and concentrate on more teaching/preaching/discipleship as that seems to be where I feel I make the most impact. I do love to play the guitar though. Mr. Green
